AWPA will be holding a Briefing of the US House of Representatives Wire and Wire Products Caucus on June 2, 2015, and for the first time, combining this event with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Manufacturing Summit. The Manufacturing Summit is the opportunity to be a part of the “army of manufacturers” storming Capitol Hill, promoting US Manufacturing issues. We expect the agenda to include a number of trade issues, including Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) and the ENFORCE Act. As you know, AWPA has been advocating for enforcement of US Trade laws by championing ENFORCE. Please plan on spending a day in Washington, DC next month as part of this important push to finally get this legislation passed.
