The American Chemistry Council has submitted a memorandum to the EPA on the impact of TSCA Reform on the EPA’s review of MCCPs and LCCPs. The memorandum discusses changes the EPA should make to the process it will use to evaluate mid- and long-chain paraffins (MCCPs and LCCPs) under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), as amended by the Lautenberg Chemical Safety Act which was signed into law in June. You can read the ACA’s letter here, and there is more information on this issue on the Environmental, Health & Safety page of the AWPA website.
