Your Action is Needed on Section 232 TODAY! Last week we sent you an Action Alert to asking you to call your legislators and ask them to call the White House to urge the Administration NOT to put tariffs or quotas on steel imports as the Department of Commerce has recommended in the Section 232 report. We have since learned that the President could announce his decision as early as next week.  We have been told that he may make an announcement as he helps to campaign in Pennsylvania, in the special election (set for March 13) for the vacant House seat.  So we must turn up the heat!

The US steel industry has been using its steel workers to lobby the Administration in their capacity as workers whose jobs are at risk, if steel tariffs are not put in place. Now it is time for downstream steel manufacturers to remind the President that they have American Steel Manufacturing Jobs, too.

We are asking you to mobilize your employees to write letters to the White House.  A  link to a sample letter is below.  One suggestion has been that you have your employees hand write letters and then package them together and send them by email.
