Friday, the Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) published a notice of several additional product exclusions from List 4A of the Section 301 tariffs on imports from China.

There is one steel product on the list – Round wire of nonalloy steel, hot-dipped galvanized with zinc, containing by weight less than 0.25 percent carbon, measuring at least 1.5 mm in diameter (described in statistical reporting number 7217.20.3000).

These product exclusions apply as of September 1, 2019, and they extend to September 1, 2020.
