Today, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced that the antidumping (AD) orders on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, Moldova, and Trinidad & Tobago and the countervailing duty (CVD) order on wire rod from Brazil will be continued for a further period of five years. There was one vote for all countries, and the vote was unanimous.

This announcement follows separate sunset reviews by the DOC and the US International Trade Commission, in which both agencies made determinations that the orders should be continued.

The next sunset review of these orders will be initiated in July 2025.
