From Fred Waite and Kim Young, AWPA Counsel
Today, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) amended its final results in the administrative review of the antidumping (AD) order on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Mexico.
The amended final results covered three Mexican producers / exporters, and the period of review is October 1, 2018, through September 30, 2019.
After correcting a ministerial error, the DOC amended the final dumping margin for Deacero S.A.P.I. de C.V., the sole mandatory respondent, to 9.84%. The DOC had originally calculated a final dumping margin of 9.82%.
The amended dumping margin of 9.84% also applies to Ternium Mexico S.A. de C.V. and Talleres y Aceros de C.V., which are subject to this review but were not individually examined.
