CPB Releases Guidance on Reciprocal Tariffs

Friday afternoon Customs and Border Patrol released new guidance on the reciprocal tariffs. The clarification reaffirms that articles from Canada and Mexico covered under the USMCA are exempt, as well as “Articles of iron or steel, derivative articles of iron or steel, articles of aluminum, derivative articles of aluminum, passenger vehicles (sedans, sport utility vehicles, crossover utility vehicles, minivans, and cargo vans) and light trucks and parts of passenger vehicles (sedans, sport utility vehicles, crossover utility vehicles, minivans, and cargo vans) and light trucks, of any country, subject to Section 232 actions.
