The AWPA welcomes David Duncan to the Board of Directors.

David L Duncan Jr. is the President – CEO of Granite Falls Furnace and R&D Plastics of Hickory. In this role he oversees all aspects of both businesses. David is blessed to work with his two younger brothers, Matthew and Mark, creating a nice “three-legged stool” of leadership as each of his brothers oversees Sales and Purchasing for their respective businesses.

Prior to joining GFF \ R&D in October of 2014, David served in various sales and operational positions at Hickory Springs Manufacturing Co., with his last role being that of Vice President – Corporate Sales.

David will be celebrating his 31st anniversary with his wife Kelly this August. They have 3 adult children and two daughters-in-law. Also, a 2-year-old granddaughter with another granddaughter due on their anniversary in August! David serves as an Elder at his Church where he loves to teach and help others through Biblical Counseling. In his spare time, he plays in a bluegrass group appropriately named “Barely There” where he is a “just less than mediocre singer and guitar picker”.

Granite Falls Furnace has been an AWPA member company since 2020. We look forward to David’s input on the Board.
