Members of the American Wire Producers Association (AWPA) converged on Capitol Hill September 19 to engage with lawmakers on critical issues affecting our sector. The focus of this mission: urging robust enforcement of trade laws and updates to the import data programs that are essential for fair competition in the steel wire manufacturing industry.
Members emphasized the importance of cracking down on unfair trade practices, including dumping and subsidies, which can undercut American producers’ ability to compete on a level playing field.
