Four key bills were introduced in both the Senate and House in late April, including the Bipartisan Congressional Trade Priorities and Accountability Act of 2015, the Trade Adjustment Assistance Enhancement Act of 2015, the AGOA Extension and Enhancement Act of 2015, and the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act.
On Tuesday, June 2, AWPA held a Wire & Wire Products Caucus Briefing and Congressional Visits to lobby for the inclusion of the ENFORCE provision in upcoming trade legislation passed by the Senate and now under consideration in the House.
AWPA will be holding a Briefing of the US House of Representatives Wire and Wire Products Caucus on June 2, 2015, and for the first time, combining this event with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Manufacturing Summit.
