The 2020 AWPA Annual Meeting heads to sunny, warm Scottsdale, Arizona. We hope you will join us Wednesday through Saturday, February 19-22, at the beautiful Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch. The 2020 Annual Meeting occurs just after the first political primaries for the 2020 presidential election year. The tariff program on Steel imports will be coming up on its 2 year anniversary and actions on Chinese tariff exclusion requests for wire products should be almost completed. AWPA will bring together experts on the political environment; the latest information on workforce development; and provide a current perspective on the economy and the impact of the tariff regimes. On top of all this, the meeting also gives you the opportunity to discuss current issues with colleagues and customers. You’ll want to arm yourself with as much information as possible, on how 2020 may impact the wire industry.
We’ve had some adjustments to the traditional West Coast schedule this year, so please be sure to check the schedule of events before making your travel plans. We’ll finish mid-morning on Saturday, so that you can catch afternoon flights after the program or consider staying over to enjoy an extra day in Scottsdale.
