INTRODUCTION

The 2019 AWPA Annual Meeting will be held in sunny Clearwater Beach, Florida. We hope you will join us Wednesday through Friday, February 20-22, at the Wyndham Clearwater Beach Resort. The 2019 Annual Meeting brings together experts on the political environment; the latest information on trade and tariff issues affecting the industry; and provides a current perspective on the economy. In addition, to address workforce development, there will be a panel of AWPA members discussing strategies to address the manufacturing workforce needs. On top of all this, the meeting also gives you the opportunity to discuss current issues with colleagues and customers. It has never been so important in the current steel industry chaos for you to hear what others are doing. You won’t want to miss it!

 

We’ve had some adjustments to the schedule in the past two years, and we are returning to our East Coast schedule, so please be sure to check the schedule of events before making your travel plans. We’ll finish mid-day on Friday, so that you can catch afternoon flights after the program. Or consider staying the weekend and enjoying the warm weather and walkable, eclectic Clearwater Beach!
